Trying to Feed Your Family Better?

You’re not alone.

Maybe you’ve been wondering what’s really in the food at the store.
Maybe you’ve tried to buy organic, but it still doesn’t feel right.
Maybe your milk spoils too fast or your stomach doesn’t agree with it.

We get it.

You just want to feed your family something real and clean.
You want to trust where it comes from.
You want to know the animals were cared for.

That’s where we come in.

Real Food Starts With Real Care

Chicks in hand

We started this farm because we were asking the same questions you are.

  • How do we feed our families better?
  • How do we get back to food that’s real?

Real food shouldn’t be complicated.

It should be grown and raised naturally, without shortcuts. Just like we raise our kids.

Our farm provides:

  • Pastured GMO/corn/soy-free chicken, eggs, and pork
  • Pastured turkey
  • Raw milk from cows raised on clean pasture and no-spray hay

Our Belief

We believe

  • food should be raised with gratitude.
  • in giving animals a good life.
  • that when you eat food raised with care, you can taste the difference… and you feel it too.

Our Story

McGreen Acres is a family run farm.  It's woman owned by two sisters, Beverly and Rebecca. Their husbands, mom, and kids all have parts to play in making it work.

It all started when Rebecca brought home a Jersey cow named Mindy. Her oldest daughter was just one, and Rebecca wanted her family to have the healthiest milk possible — straight from their own cow.

From there, the farm grew. There were:

  • Chickens, pigs, and turkeys that Allan raised all on clean pasture while fixing, building, and making sure everything works as it should..
  • A garden and orchard full of vegetables and fruit that  Beverly started from seed and cuttings after long shifts as a nurse.
  • Bees for raw honey, thanks to Opal’s knack for bee keeping in between raising the kids.

We home-school our kids. They learn and we live by the idea that our kids should know what real food looks like — from pasture to plate.

Each of us has a hand in raising the animals and growing the food that feeds our families. And we share it with yours.
