Once we tried the difference between store bought and homemade vanilla, we couldn't get enough! We prepare the organic vanilla beans and place them in cute glass jars with organic alcohol to make the extract. Try adding it to homemade ice cream or coffee creamer!

Note: as you remove vanilla extract, replace with an organic alcohol and the beans will continue to impart flavor, letting you get multiple uses from the beans in your jar. In playing with our vanilla extract technique, we were surprised to taste the difference in flavor between different alcohol varieties.
