Some of y'all asked why we don’t just process birds right here on the farm and sell them directly. Under HB 410, passed by the Texas Legislature in 2019, we can legally sell on-farm processed poultry in certain amounts.

The Texas Legislature has passed and Governor Abbott has signed House Bill 365 (HB 365), which will make important changes to the Texas Farm Animal Liability Act (FALA) effective as of September 1, 2021.

Hi everybody,

I wanted to extend a really warm welcome to all of yall that are looking into what we are about and interested in leading a lifestyle that is much like ours. It's definitely been a fun ride so far starting a homestead and learning about all the things that we didn't know and compiling the knowledge we already had. What's even more interesting is the diverse backgrounds even among the family that goes into our daily lives.
